The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation
Trust in UK has awarded a contract
worth almost £1.2m to TECHNIDATA for a new laboratory information management
system.
The ten-year contract will cover the supply and maintenance of the LIMS,
which will also integrate with the hospital information system.

The University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust (UHMBT) in UK has
signed a contract with TECHNIDATA to implement TD-Synergy LIS, together with
automated safety tracking features for blood management.
TD-Synergy was chosen as the solution best equipped to facilitate the
reconfiguration of its three separate laboratory sites into a single, fully
integrated information management environment.
Not only does UHMBT represent one of the most significant multi-site LIS
integration projects in the NHS, it is the first all-discipline LIS
OJEU
procurement awarded to a non-LSP (Local Service Provider) partnered
supplier. Up until now, only LSP partners could supply the NHS.
